What we do
DIY KITS
Minipond Kits
Each season, we develop a DIY kit containing everything needed to complete one effective wildlife project. Each one has been scaled down to suit an average garden, yard or balcony. This summer we’ll be at select markets and festivals with our Minipond kits, helping to create a new network of freshwater habitat, in gardens and greenspaces across Ireland. Each kit provides the theory and tools needed to build your own mini pond, and help kickstart the regeneration of wildlife in your community.

who are we?
About Us
The Grassroots Guild was founded by Gobnait Ní Néill in response to the challenges experienced by many communities; identifying worthwhile projects to tackle, sourcing funding, finding instructors and sustaining momentum. Having run successful projects for groups in Dublin 12, the idea for The Grassroots Guild was developed with the support of the Dublin South City Partnership, Social Entrepreneurs Ireland, Inner City Enterprise and Dublin City Council Enterprise Office.
